Have you ever seen a real bright red cardinal bird in person? I had not, until I moved here to South Louisiana. They are gorgeous and sometimes elusive. I would be too, if I was bright red like a cardinal. What a target!

This is also a picture of a cypress swamp. When it rains, it gets quite muddy and is a great place to ride your four-wheeler! Even at like 4am, according to my relatives who live over here. LOL!

When I took this picture of this red cardinal, I had to zoom my camera so the quality is not the best. But if you look close you can see his reflection in the pool of water below him. Just his reflection in the water is easy to spot, watch out Mr. Red Cardinal! Fly fast so nothing gets ya...!
